Playing the Game

A ‘Games Master’, ‘Referee’, or ‘Master of Ceremonies’ (depending on preferred title) may be selected before the game starts to ensure all the rules are followed and the game runs smoothly.

To start the players sit round in a circle surrounding an empty bottle.Players should sit in a …–boy–girl–boy–girl–…fashion where possible. Each player rolls the die. The highest score goes first and the game proceeds clockwise from then on. Anyone who rolls a 6 adds 1 shots worth of their drink to the communal pint before the first player rolls to start the game.To go a player rolls the die to determine which action(s) they will perform. The bottle is then span to see who the action is given by. The actions are given below:

  1. DARE + Take off 1 item of clothing.
  2. KISS + Select a player to take off 1 item of clothing.
  3. TRUTH + Put on 1 item of clothing.
  4. TRUTH + Take 1 drink.
  5. KISS + Give 1 drink.
  6. DARE + Add 1 shots worth of drink to the communal pint.

Alternative Rules:

  1. DARE + Add 1 shots worth of drink to the communal pint.
  2. KISS + Give 1 drink.
  3. TRUTH + Take 1 drink.
  4. TRUTH + Take 1 Drink.
  5. KISS + Give 1 Drink.
  6. DARE + Add 1 shots worth of drink to the communal pint.

Actions:

DARE: A DARE is given to the player(s) and they can choose whether to perform it (see Refusal and Forfeit). The player the bottle points to after being span is the player who gives the DARE to the player whose go it is. Almost anything goes for a DAREwith a few considerations:

  • The removal or gain of clothing for any player cannot be included.
  • The asking and answering of questions cannot be included.
  • Kissing cannot be included.
  • The communal pint cannot be included.
  • The DARE must always include the player whose go it is.
  • The DARE can include up to 2 (including the player who gave the DARE) less than the total number of players in the group. However, if the player who gave the DARE also includes themselves then the DARE can include up to 1 less than the total number of players in the group.
  • The DARE cannot involve a body part of a player than has not yet been ‘exposed’ by the removal of clothing.
  • Sexual Considerations:If a DARE involves stimulation of the genitals or anus there are further considerations. Sexual actions do not include teasing/seductive actions, e.g. lap-dancing, grinding, finger sucking, ear nibbling etc., however, nipple play is at the discretion of the group if it is deemed as sexual or otherwise. The sexual considerations are:
    • Any DARE that is sexual has an upper time limit of 5 minutes, although any time limit less than this is allowed to be used.
    • A condom must be worn for any DARE involving penis penetration into a vagina or anus, regardless of if all involved players prefer not to and/or have previous experience without one prior to the game either with each other or not. If the players feel that strongly about it, they must refuse the DARE and under no circumstances may they perform the DARE without a condom.
    • A new condom must be worn for each and every time a DARE involving penis penetration into a vagina or anus is performed. If there is to be two instances of said penetration in 1 DARE a new condom must be worn for each instance.
    • If there are no condoms available no DARE involving penis penetration of a vagina or anus may be ask or performed.
    • All involved players must clean to an appropriate level before and after a sexual DARE.
    • If objects/toys are to be involved they must also be cleaned to an appropriate level before and after the DARE.
    • Cleaning and putting on/taking off condoms are not included in the time limit.

KISS: The player is to KISS the player who the bottle points to after being span, either player can refuse (see Refusal and Forfeit). The severity of the KISS (e.g. peck, make-out etc.) is determined by the 2 players involved, providing there is lip-lip contact. Gender does not play any factor when designating who the player must KISS, so a male would have to KISS males and females, and females would have to do likewise, but refusal is always allowed (see Refusal and Forfeit).

Truth: A yes/no question is given to the player and they can choose whether to answer it truthfully, or not answer it at all (see Refusal and Forfeit). The question should never be answered untruthfully and if the question was found to be answer as such, the player automatically forfeits 1 piece of clothing. The player the bottle points to after being span is the player who asks the question to the player whose go it is. Any yes/no question is allowed to be asked.

Spin

Refusal and Forfeit

Removal of clothing or drinks (unless it was part of a DARE) as well as the drinking of the FULL communal pint at the end (see Ending the Game) may never be refused. However the 3 actions may be refused. Each action has different consequences for refusal:

KISS: If either player refuses to KISS then there is an automatic forfeit of 1 item of clothing from both players.

DAREandTRUTH: If any player involved in the DARE or the player refuses to answer the question the non-involved players (not including the player who gave the DARE or question) vote on if the DARE or question was ‘Too EXTREME’, this being a subjective personal opinion of each player. The following consequences apply depending on how the vote turns out:

If the DARE/question was voted ‘Too EXTREME’: Any player involved in the DARE/question, including the player who gave the DARE/question, have to take 1 drink.

If the DARE/question was not voted ‘Too EXTREME’: Anyone player involved in the DARE/question, not including the player who gave the DARE/question unless they involved themselves in the DARE, must remove 1 item of clothing after being given a second chance to perform the DARE or answer the question.

A Tied vote: Any player involved in the DARE/question, including the player who gave the DARE/question, have to take 1 drink.

Naked Clause

If a player has removed all clothing, leaving them naked, then all forfeits for them are to take 1 drink. If they refuse a question, the player who asked the question must also take a drink. If a DARE is refused that involves no other players, both the player and the player who gave the DARE take 1 drink. If more players are involved, and any of them still have clothes that can be removed, and any player refuses, the regular rules apply, however if the naked player has to take of clothing (i.e. the DARE was voted ‘Too EXTREME’), they must take 1 drink instead. If they refuse a KISS, and the other player involved has clothing, then the other player must remove an item of clothing, but the naked player only has to take 1 drink.

Partner Clause

If a player and their romantic partner are both present and playing then if one of the partners is given a DARE/question that does not involve the other partner, the other partner may refuse for them leading to an automatic forfeit of 1 drink for all players involved, including the player who gave the DARE/question and now both partners. This applies even if the DARE/question would have been voted not too far. If the 2 partners are both involved in the DARE then the regular rules apply. If the player has a romantic partner and they are present and not playing, or they are not present the regular rules apply. A KISS may never been refused by the partner. A partner may also never refuse their partner taking off clothing, drinks (unless it was part of a DARE) or the drinking of the FULL communal pint at the end (see Ending the Game) as thesecount as neither aDARE nor a question.

Alternative Rules:

All forfeits result in all players involved in DARE/question, including player who gave the DARE/question taking 1 drink. This renders the Partner Clause redundant.

Clothing

Whenever clothing is taken off it is put into a communal pile. This is where all regained clothing comes from. A player may put on their own clothing or they can put on anyone’s clothing that is in the communal pile. This means they can potentially put on more clothing then they started with. Once all clothes are removed from communal pile all 3 rollsresult in taking 1 drinkand adding 1 shots worth to the communal pint, unless the player has not used all pillow regaining opportunities.Pairs of clothing, e.g. shoes and socks, count as 2 items of clothing. Accessories do not count.

A player may never be selected to put on an item of clothing. Clothes only are put on upon rolling a three and the only player allowed to put on item of clothing is the player who rolled the 3.

Once a player is naked, a roll of 1 results in taking a drink and adding 1 shot worth to the communal pint.Only clothed players may be selected by a player who rolled a 2 to take off an item of clothing unless all other players are naked. If all other players are naked the 2 roll results in the player who rolled giving a drink and adding 1 shots worth to the communal pint.

Pillows/Cushions

1 pillow/cushion is given to each player which they may use as an extra piece of clothing. Any body part covered only by a pillow/cushion is still classed as ‘Exposed’. Once the pillow/cushion is lost it may be regained with a 3. A player may only regain pillows/cushions they have lost and cannot gain other players pillows/cushions. Upon the first removal of a player’s last piece of clothing, leaving them naked, they are given a 2nd pillow/cushion, which can be lost and regained just like the 1st one. The Naked Clause Free spins after registration no deposit fee. only comes into affect once all clothing, including both pillows has been removed.

Ending the Game

After every time a shot is added to the communal pint the group vote on whether the pint is FULL. If the pint is voted to be not FULL or there is a tied vote the game continues. If the pint is voted to be FULL, the game continues on, however, when the next 6 (or 1 or 2 or 3 (see Clothing)) is rolled, the final action is carried out as normal but afterwards the player who rolled the 6 (or 1 or 2 or 3 (see Clothing))has to drink the FULL communal pint. This ends the game.

Alternative Rules: If either a 1 or a 6 add a shot to communal pint then the game can end on either roll.

A game of spin the bottle

Spin the bottle is a kissingparty game played at teenage parties comprising boys and girls.

The game was very popular among teenagers during the second half of the 20th century because it fostered 'sexual' interactions between boys and girls. It has even been described as 'the party game of choice for glandularly excited high schoolers'.[1] It has been described as a coming-of-age party game.[2]

The game is popular among young teenagers. Even though it might be played occasionally by young teenagers or young adults, its popularity has declined since the 1980s.

The game[edit]

See Full List On Wikihow.com

The game is played by several (or more) players who sit, stand, or kneel in a circle. A bottle is placed on the floor in the center of the circle. A player spins the bottle, and must kiss the person to whom the bottle points when it stops spinning. Alternatively, the person to whom the bottle is pointing must kiss the person at the rear end of the bottle.

There are a very large number of variants. One variant is that instead, two players must hug within five seconds, otherwise, they have to kiss in 10 seconds and if the 10 seconds are up and they have not kissed, then they have to French kiss. Variations allow for other tasks to be accomplished. It can also be used to decide the players for other games, such as truth or dare? or seven minutes in heaven. Variations may also include penalties, such as removing an article of clothing.

History[edit]

Written records of bottle-spinning games date back to the 1920s, though early accounts make no mention of kissing.[3] Written records of a similar game, called Bottle of Fortune, are available dating back to 1922.[4]
